No one is ALLOWED to assist a contestant beyond the Time-Line or contestant will receive a No-Time.
PeeWee Events: 10 & under
Goat Undecorating: 6 & under
Jr. Barrels: 16 & under
Jr. Breakaway: 14 & under, 8th grade or less in school (if eligible for High School Rodeo, you may not enter this event).
Jr. Team Roping: 14 & under, 8th grade or less in school (if eligible for High School Rodeo, you may not enter this event).
Novice Events: 18 & younger and/or won less than $250 anywhere during lifetime.
A contestant can only enter 1 division of an event. (i.e. - a contestant cannot compete in both JR Team Roping & Open Roping.
Long sleeve shirt & western hat are required during the performance. This does apply to Pee-Wee events.
All contestants are asked to ride in the Grand Entry.
We ask for your cooperation to help make the rodeo run smoother. Please be ready when your name is called. If you have to be called 3 times, the Judge has the option to diqualified that particular run.
Positions will be drawn in Open Barrels, JR Barrels, Goats, and other events that deemed necessary. If for some reason an entry is made after the draw is completed, that person will run first in Goats & last in Barrels.
Slack will be run in Barrels & Goats if 15 or more in each event (at the discreation of Flying L Rodeo).
Payoffs in be in cash, and we ask you pay your fees in cash.
This is a "Family Atmosphere," please conduct yourself accordingly.
Bullrider contestants will be allowed one helper behind chutes. Both the bullriding contestant & his helper must be in long sleeve shirts, western hat or helmet at all time, while in the arena or around chutes, or contestant maybe disqualified for that performance.
In accordance with Arkansas state law the Flying L Rodeo Company must require all participating equine to be accompanied by an official CURRENT record of a NEGATIVE Equine Infectious Anemia test within last 12 months.
