at Flying L Rodeo?

Order of Events - see below

Flying L Rodeo wants to take this opportunity to say THANK YOU to all of our contestants who have been apart of the 2010 rodeo season so far. Below are a few reminders for all our rodeo friends and family........

Entry books close at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday nights. We take pride in the fact that Flying L Rodeo does not charge a membership fee and that our rodeo is not a call ahead event (excluding bull riding).  Our entry cut-off is 7:30 p.m. so that the event/stock draw can be posted as soon as possible for our contestants.

-All contestants pay at the gate. Admission is $5.00 for Adults, Children 6-12 is $3.00, and 5 & under are FREE

-This year is off to a great start and without our contestants none of this would be possible! Remember to get your 8 rodeos in so you too can be apart of our 52nd annual Rodeo Finals Celebration on the Hill the second weekend of October. See you soon...

BULLRIDERS - New Ground Rule- see the last paragraph on the Ground Rules page.

The new Classifieds to sell, buy, or trade. Post an item on our Classifieds, it will be there for 60 days, if you sell it, please be kind, go back and mark it Sold.

2009 Season Now in the History Books

2009 Season was one of the most rainfall year we've seen in a long time. There was alot of activities on "top of the hill" this year when storms passing through caused damage to the announcer stand and other structures. With the help and aid of some mighty nice people, we were able to get it all back together. Thanks to all that helped Flying L and the hard work you put in.

Thank you contestants for rodeoing with us and as we contiune to keep the tradition going that Roy Lee started over 51 years ago, keep this saying on your mind until we meet again on top of the hill in Mount Vernon  -"Long Live Cowboys."
